Testimonials:

Couldn’t ask for a better experience!

This was possibly the best thing my friends and I did on our trip to Cambodia. Annie was the best teacher you could ask for, the scenery was perfect and the whole experience was amazing. None of us had ever paddleboarded before and at the end of the session we were all so comfortable on the board. We started off with basics on a perfectly still river and had plenty of time to get used to the board before we set off for a paddle through the mangroves. The scenery was amazing and we even had a chance to pick some wild growing mangoes hanging low over the river. Annie was relaxed and friendly, she seems to have a great relationship with the locals in the area and has a wide knowledge base about the region. We even got a few photos of us on the boards in the mangroves which have become some of my favorite memories from the trip. We loved the session so much we went back the next morning for a session of paddleboard yoga which was breathtaking. It wasn’t too difficult for a beginner either. Just make sure you don’t wear things like bikinis for the paddleboarding/yoga session though, have respect for the local culture and be aware that there are fishing boats traveling through the river area during the morning. Would 100% move to Kampot and do this every day!

A great day out!

The most surprising thing about my SUP experience is that more people aren’t doing it. For those who stay in Kampot there are many attractions but for me this is a must. I did this trip a couple of years ago and didn’t hesitate to repeat the experience. As well as the paddleboard experience I had time to see the work going on to reclaim the coastal mangrove area. My guide was very helpful as were the other staff.
